Before I woke up to the fact that the snacks I was eating were not healthy snacks and they were causing much harm to my body and mental health, I lived on snacks.

Things like cookies, cakes, donuts and especially chocolate, certainly not the best choices. I didn't believe all who told me to stop. I like to snack! I tried fruit, sometimes it was good and sometimes not so much. I still wanted a snack afterwards. Then I gained a little weight. Oh No! This never happened to me before.

So that is what it took to make the problem of snacking real. As I began to investigate alternatives I found many healthy snacks. And more importantly I learned that what I snacked on at two in the afternoon set me up for more cravings a short time later. The more junk food I ate the more I wanted.

Now if you like celery and carrots and apples, great, you can have mine. I like something with a little more pizazz.

Day by day I discovered new healthier snacks. I'm amazed at how much better I feel. I even lost a few unwanted pounds.
